Competitive Rules

Last updated July 4, 2026

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and hold one active account to participate in ranked matches. Elo, leaderboard position, and rewards are tied to a single account per person — see our Community Guidelines on account sharing and multi-accounting.

2. Match format

A ranked match is a live 1v1: both players' cameras on, one randomly selected exercise (push-ups, squats, burpees, or plank), 30 seconds, scored by the same on-device model for both players. Neither player chooses the exercise, and there are no re-rolls once a match starts.

3. Scoring

Each player receives a 1–10 score based on rep count (or hold time), form, pacing, and effort. Higher score wins; a tie is a draw. Full mechanics are on our AI Judging page.

4. Rating changes

Ranked results update both players' Elo immediately using standard Elo math (K-factor 32). See our Elo Rating page for the formula.

5. Disconnects and voided matches

If a live connection drops entirely before a result is recorded, the match is voided — no Elo change for either player. Extended time with low camera visibility during a completed match is factored into scoring rather than voiding the match automatically.

6. Friendly vs. ranked

Duels started with a friend can be marked friendly (zero Elo change, for practice or fun) or ranked (Elo on the line, same as matchmaking). Guest matches never affect Elo, ranked or otherwise, since guest results aren't saved server-side.

7. Seasons

Ranked play is organized into monthly seasons with a partial rating reset at the start of each one. Full detail is on our Seasonal Ranking page.

8. Prohibited conduct

Camera spoofing, motion faking, account sharing, multi-accounting, and prearranged fake matches to manipulate rating are all prohibited — see our Anti-Cheatpage for what's actively checked, and Community Guidelines for conduct rules around camera content and harassment.

9. Disputes and reports

If you believe a match result, an opponent's conduct, or an enforcement action was wrong, contact us through Contact with the username involved and roughly when it happened. We review every report; not every dispute changes the outcome, but every one gets read.

10. Rewards have no monetary value

Ranks, titles, badges, and borders earned through competitive play cannot be bought, sold, or exchanged for real money or anything outside the Service — consistent with our Terms of Service.

11. Changes to these rules

We may update this rulebook as competitive features evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
